Introduction
At Sampl, our mission is to help brands grow by making product trial easy, measurable, and targeted. To achieve this, we use cookies and similar technologies across our entire digital ecosystem. This policy explains how we use these technologies across our various webs to ensure security, understand site performance, and provide a seamless experience for our clients and consumers.
The four kinds of websites we operate
We run four different types of websites, each of which uses cookies in a different way:
- Our Marketing Site (www.sampltech.com): Used to showcase our services. It uses various cookies to help us understand how people find us and move around our pages.
- Our Consumer Help Site (help.sampltech.com): A dedicated site to support consumers. Like our marketing site, this uses cookies to see which help articles are most useful.
- Our Client App (app.sampltech.com): The platform where our clients manage their campaigns. This site only uses essential technical cookies required for secure login and account management.
- Consumer Sampling Sites: The pages where consumers apply for product samples. We use essential cookies here to process requests and prevent fraud. Please note: Because these pages are often branded for our clients, the individual brands may choose to add their own cookies or their own cookie banners to these specific pages.
What cookies do we use?
We have updated our list of cookies to reflect our current tools. We do not use "advertising" or "targeting" cookies to follow you around the internet; instead, we use them for the following:
Our partners
We work with several specialized service providers to run our business. A full list of these partners can be found on our Sub-processors page. The main partners who place cookies on our marketing and help sites are:
- HubSpot: To help us manage our relationships with clients and see how often people visit our marketing pages.
- Microsoft Clarity: To help us visualize how people use our site so we can make it easier to navigate.
- LinkedIn & Apollo: To help us understand the professional backgrounds of the businesses interested in our services.
- GetShowMe.ai: To provide interactive walkthroughs of our technology.
Your choices
- Marketing & Help Sites: When you first visit these sites, you can choose which non-essential cookies you are happy for us to use via the pop-up banner.
- Sampling Sites: For consumer-facing sample request pages, please look for the specific cookie banner on that page, as it will cover any cookies the brand client has chosen to add.
- Browser Settings: You can also use your web browser (like Chrome or Safari) to block or delete cookies entirely.
Turning cookies off
Internet browsers normally accept cookies by default. However, most browsers let you turn off either all or third-party cookies. What you are able to do depends on which browser you are using. If you do not accept our use of cookies as set out above, please set your browser to reject cookies. However, please be aware that this may impair or limit your ability to use our website. The option to do this is usually found in the options, settings or preferences menu of your browser or mobile device.
It should be noted, however, that our website relies on a user having an active session to request a sample. These sessions are maintained by using a cookie, and, as such, disabling cookies will mean we cannot accept a request for a sample.
Updating our Cookie Policy
We may update our use of cookies from time to time and consequently, we may update this Cookies Policy. We, therefore, recommend that you check this Cookies Policy regularly.
