Campaign Subprocessors

This page lists the third-party subprocessors authorised by Sampl to process personal data on behalf of our brand clients during product sampling campaigns. All listed subprocessors are bound by data processing agreements requiring compliance with UK GDPR and equivalent data protection standards. This section relates to you if you have applied to receive a sample in the post, or have applied to receive a SamplPay cashback offer.
Amazon Web Services
The Sampl web platform is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). All data is held in the London (UK) region. Information is stored on AWS for sample allocation and analysis purposes. For more information, please see the AWS Privacy Notice.
Fathom Analytics
Sampl uses Fathom Analytics for privacy-first website traffic measurement within the Sampl platform and on campaign microsites. To measure performance without tracking cookies, consumer IP addresses and user-agent strings are processed transiently in-memory on European edge servers to create anonymised hash signatures, after which the raw IP addresses are immediately deleted and never stored. Google Workspace & Gemini AI
Consumer data is processed by Google Workspace when:
- You email us or your data is securely transferred to us by our clients.
Consumer data is processed by Google Gemini AI when:
Data is stored at rest in the Google Europe region. For more information, please see the Google Cloud Privacy Notice.
- You upload a receipt or invoice in response to a SamplPay cashback campaign.
- You submit feedback, review or survey comments.
Salesforce
Consumer data is processed by Salesforce only if you email us. Data is stored in the UK region. For more information, please see the Salesforce Privacy Policy.
TransUnion
To fulfill our mission of making product trials easy and targeted for genuine consumers, we utilise TransUnion's iovation fraud detection services. This ensures that our limited product samples reach unique, legitimate users rather than automated bots or individuals attempting to bypass campaign limits. If you leave a product review, Sampl may share that information with the following syndication services on behalf of our clients:
Fulfillment
Where we process personal data on behalf of our clients to deliver product samples, we use trusted third-party fulfilment partners to manage storage, packing, and delivery.
These partners may vary by campaign, product type, and delivery destination, and may be located in different regions worldwide. For example, some fulfilment partners specialise in temperature-controlled items, restricted goods (such as perfumes containing alcohol), or region-specific delivery requirements.
We select and engage these partners in accordance with our clients’ instructions and applicable data protection laws, and ensure they are bound by appropriate contractual safeguards.
A current list of our fulfilment partners used for a particular campaign can be made available to our clients or relevant regulators upon request.
