SamplPay FAQ & Support

Common questions that we get asked.

SamplPay essentials

What is SamplPay?

SamplPay is a cashback program. You can claim money back on eligible purchases by following the simple steps in the offer — fill out a form, make your purchase, upload your receipt, and get paid via bank transfer, PayPal, or Venmo.

How do I register to take part in a cashback offer?

You must register and be approved before making your purchase. Claims for items bought prior to successful registration will not be approved. Your application will be considered based upon our eligibility, availability, approval and specific SamplPay criteria detailed in our Terms of Use.

After registering, if approved, you will receive a confirmation email with step-by-step instructions. Once you have that email, you can purchase your product and follow the provided link to submit your claim.

How long do I have to redeem my offer after registering?

The deadline for redemption varies by offer. Please refer to your confirmation email for the specific timeframe applicable to your claim.

Once the redemption window has closed, your unique link will expire and can no longer be used to claim cashback. Unfortunately, we are unable to reactivate or extend links once they have expired.

Is cashback available for in-store or online purchases?

Eligibility depends on the specific offer; please check the offer details and your confirmation email for valid purchase methods.

How much cashback will I get?

The cashback amount varies per offer. The exact payout will be listed in the offer details.

How long does it take to receive my cashback?

If your submission is automatically approved and there are no banking delays, you could be paid in under an hour. However, please allow up to five business days to cover any manual checks or banking delays.

Where should I shop to qualify for cashback?

Retailer eligibility varies by promotion; please refer to the specific offer details to see where you can shop and claim.

Do I need to keep my receipt?

Yes — keep it until you’ve successfully received your payout in case our team needs to verify your claim.

Submission queries

What proof of purchase is required?

For in-store: A clear photo of your physical receipt showing the retailer, date and time of purchase, product purchased, payment total and method of payment. Please note: only one image per receipt is accepted, and all corners and item details must be included.

For online: We require the official retailer invoice in PDF format, which is made available to you after your items have been dispatched. Order confirmation emails or "pending" screenshots are not accepted. If other submission types are allowed, this will be specified in the specific promotion's T&Cs.

In all cases, the retailer, date and time of purchase, product purchased, payment total and method of payment must all be clearly visible.

How do I claim my payout?

For in-store purchases, upload or take a clear photo of your receipt showing the purchase. Make sure all required details are visible: the retailer, date and time of purchase, product purchased, payment total and method of payment. Please note: only one image per receipt is accepted, and all corners and item details must be included.

For online orders, we require the official retailer invoice in PDF format, which is made available to you after your items have been dispatched. Order confirmation emails or "pending" screenshots are not accepted. If other submission types are allowed, this will be specified in the specific promotion's T&Cs. Please ensure your upload clearly shows all required details: the retailer, date and time of purchase, product purchased, payment total and method of payment.

Where can I find a PDF invoice?

Some retailers will send a PDF invoice to you via email. If not, you can usually get a PDF invoice from the "Order History" or "My Purchases" page on the website of that particular retailer.

How to get PDF invoices from your favourite retailers:

Amazon
Go to Order Details and click "Invoice" at the top right to download.

Boots
Sign in and go to Account > Online orders > Order details to find receipt links.

Chewy
Click "Details" on an order, then "View or Print Invoice" to save as PDF.

Kroger
View Purchase History and select the Receipt link/icon to view.

Ocado
Go to "My Ocado" > "Orders" and tap "View receipt" to see a PDF version.

PetSmart
Go to Recent orders where you can click "Print your receipts."

Sainsbury's
Sainsbury’s sends an "e-receipt" email on the morning of your delivery. It typically has a PDF version attached or a link to view one.

Target
In Purchase History, select "Receipts and invoices" then "View detailed invoices."

Tesco
Go to "My Account" > "Grocery Orders." Select the order to view the full summary. To get a PDF, use the Print (Ctrl+P) function on that page.

Walmart
Log in, go to "Purchase History," select the order, and click "Print" or "View details." Use your browser’s "Save as PDF" function.

What information must be visible on the receipt?

Your receipt must clearly show:

- The name of the retailer
- The date and time of purchase
- The product(s) purchased
- The payment total
- The method of payment

Can I upload multiple images of the same receipt?

No. Only one image per receipt is accepted. Ensure the entire receipt fits clearly in a single photo.

You can only claim once per person per offer. If you see another SamplPay offer for a different product, you’re welcome to claim that separately.

What if my receipt is too long to fit in one photo?

Make sure to take a clear photo of the entire receipt, including the retailer name, product, and date/time—all in one image. If the photo is blurry, we won’t be able to validate your receipt. If your receipt is too long or hard to capture clearly, consider purchasing the item on a separate receipt for easier submission.

How many times can I use the same receipt or PDF invoice?

Each receipt or PDF invoice can only be used once. There is a strict limit of one cashback payout per proof of purchase.

Moderation queries

My receipt was rejected. What should I do?

Double-check that the photo is clear and includes all required details, then try again.

We know what a valid receipt from a legitimate retailer looks like, and we know when a photo has been manipulated or isn’t real. If we suspect a submission is AI generated or otherwise manipulated for fraudulent purposes, your registration will be revoked in line with our Terms of Use and you will not be permitted to try again. If you genuinely believe this has happened in error, contact our support team for assistance (see below).
